2022-01-09 | Goals

Hi computer,


I still haven't decided what to do about uni. I haven't studied at all, typically, and I generally don't feel any enthusiasm about it. I can't remember ever being enthusiastic about it though. I definitely think waiting a bit longer before going would've been better. Maybe I wouldn't have gone there at all. Now it's too late of course, not much point whining.

I'll talk about goals now for a bit. I think it could be good to move out however I would need money for that. Logically then I guess I need some kind of work or revenue stream, be it short-term or long-term. A blog isn't going to pay the bills anytime soon and I don't want be miserable so programming is probably my best bet. There is no reason why I shouldn't be able to work fully remote and I enjoy it. I have thought about delivery driving but I don't really want to drive a vehicle as I feel I would be putting myself and others at risk. As a last resort it could be workable but it's certainly not ideal.

To get a job programming I will need to start searching for clients or applying for positions. Finding clients online will be difficult since there are many freelancers competing online. For this reason it seems like applying to companies could be preferable if not ideal.

Intro Hi all, Last post was extremely depressing. Guess I was just making a blog for the sake of keeping up with it. This past fortnight I got a MacBook, a Romanesco and a break from synchronicity. 2022-02-15 | Thoughts on Death Stranding

Recommended? Absolutely one hundred percent "Yes!" but only if you've played a walking simulator through to completion. It's listed on Wikipedia as an action game but I think that makes it seem more action-packed than it actually is. I would recommend going in as blind as possible for maximum effect. Summary Salutations. That word really sums up the game. It's nice to feel wanted and to receive thanks for your efforts and the game provides plenty of that, if you don't mind it coming from a machine. The graphics are pretty and it is mechanically satisfying too. It provides a high level of synchronicity and a variety of storytelling opportunities through its gameplay and themes. Gameplay The bulk of the gameplay (so far) is travelling between the world's various bunkers, most of which are identical in appearance. 2021-12-30 | Synchronicity

Hello, Charlie here. I took another walk, a much shorter one this time with less awkwardness. I went the route I was originally going to take on my last walk only this time I ran into people before even reading the first lane. It was a couple with a pram, they were speaking about Blackberry Lane so I assumed this was the name of the lane we were walking along. I sped up so as not to invade their personal space too much. I decided that I would continue walking until I ran into some kind of "interesting" landmark. As I walked I passed by a lady who kindly asked how I wasn't cold in the clothes I was wearing (just jeans and a t-shirt) after I said hello to her. This mirrored a viral video I saw earlier (before the walk, not earlier today) in which a lady was asked by a man in a suit to help him with his tie and she made a similar comment after rubbing his hands. She gave him a heat pack to keep him warm. The guy had been asking strangers to tie his tie as a social experiment...
